05/04/17 James Brock!!!
James is one of those who truly exemplifies what co-mingling honors and regular core education can do. This year James took on Advanced Placement work, and while at first he may not have felt comfortable, by test time he had no problem with deep, college level critical thinking discussions and questioning. James is underestimated, smart, courteous and kind. He is inclusive of others and doesn’t shy away from a task if he is asked. James started LCS in 2009 as a 5th grader, and we are proud to see him graduate next month. His teachers describe him as happy, friendly, competitive, hard working, very driven, and fun to have in class. He has been involved with Science Team, Weight Lifting, and Varsity Track. He is interested in auto mechanics, and would like to manage a Diesel engine repair shop someday.

04/19/17 Julia McCoy!!!
Quiet strength and devotion is our Ms. Julia. Now a Senior, she has attended LCS since the 7th grade. Her focused ambition, combined with a fun personality, sets her apart from the rest. One of her teachers described her as "extremely respectful", and anyone who meets her can't help but agree. She's participated in basketball, track, cross country, science team, and every year in fine arts. She loves to play guitar and write. She is thinking about becoming an English teacher. Her favorite things about Life are the formals, and spiritual emphasis week. Julia is certainly a treasure, and we are very proud that she is part of our LCS family!

04/03/17 Zach Squires
With a willing hand and a humble heart, Zach has been a part of the LCS family for 4 1/2 years. Now a Sophomore, he volunteers in Student Council, plays guitar in Worship Band, use his technology skills to run the stage lights, participates in soccer and track, and is on the Science Team. During the summer months, Zach also helps the maintenance department get the building ready for the next school year. He is greatly respected by his teachers and peers, so we give a big thumbs up to Mr. Zach! Keep up the good work!
3/22/17 Louis Kim
Always willing to lend a hand with tasks both big and small, Louis consistently shows outstanding leadership and a great servant's heart. He is constantly learning and growing, and finding aways to encourage others. Now a senior, Louis has been part of the LCS family since 2014, and this year he wanted to make a difference by volunteering as Student Council President, the first International Student to be given this responsibility. With a super positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile, it is an honor to give our very first shout out to Mr. Louis!
